Jason believes that as brokers, sometimes we miss the bigger picture. "We focus on finding them a house they love, and then we sort of wait for the call when they're ready for the next move." But, he wonders aloud, why aren't we guiding them through a more extensive strategy? Why not talk about future investments early on?

It's not just about selling a house; it's about creating a roadmap for the future. "We don't do anything during that process to say, hey, look, have you considered buying a second property? Have we laid out a strategy now?" Jason's questions challenge the status quo of real estate dealings.

He drops a gem that goes against the "get more clients" grain: "Want to boost your business by 15% to 20%? Just chat with your existing clients about their next investment plan." It's not a magic potion, but it's close.

Yet, it's not just about numbers. Jason stresses understanding clients' aspirations beyond the money talk. "What is it that you truly want to accomplish if we fast forward 20 years?" he encourages agents to ask. It's about going beyond assumptions and connecting on a personal level.
